More Crafting Benches

As Let's Go Green! & No Sweat Insurance are spreading their influence across the Island, their inventions are becoming more available as a result!

More Exchange Stands

Jelly Junkyard is promoting its invention across the Island, now also available at Leapy Lake & next to the Noms shop in Local's Lair.

The End Is Near!

The climactic battle between the two factions is nearing its end & will determine the fate of the Island forever! Make use of those crafting ingredients while the Island is still in a relatively "normal" state as things will heat up real fast!

Season 2 will conclude on September 25th, 2021.

New "Exchange" Mechanic

- Use any Common rarity weapon to exchange it for 100 materials (randomly selected between Wood/Brick/Metal).
- The Exchange Stand can only be found at Jelly Junkyard.

Crafting Recipes

Looks like the rumors were right, "Let's Go Green!" have secretly been developing a new weapon for crafting - the Rocket Launcher!

6x Grenades + 1x Duct Tape + 1x Active Powercell -> Rocket Launcher

- Note: In order to craft a Rocket Launcher you need to craft regular Grenades using Clingers & Duct Tape at the same crafting bench.
- Crafted Rocket Launchers are Rare (Blue) rarity.
- Rocket Launchers are only obtainable through crafting this way!

New Crafting Ingredient - Active Powercell!

Active Powercell is the 3rd crafting ingredient that can be found in Crafting Ingredients Crates but is less common than the other 2.

Craft Weapons

- Island Industries is deploying its own Crafting Bench across the island. It offers 4 new crafting recipes & get powerful weapons that are otherwise not found on the map.
- Weapon Crafting Benches are currently found at Island Industries, Local's Lair & Slippery Swamp!

Crafting Recipes

- Note: You need either Uncommon or Rare variants of these weapons in order to craft a new weapon. The new weapon will be +1 rarity than the weapon you had.

Assault Rifle + 1x Active Powercell -> Pulse Rifle
Pump Shotgun + 1x Active Powercell -> Charge Shotgun
Submachine Gun + 1x Active Powercell -> Tactical SMG
Hunting Rifle + 1x Active Powercell -> Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle

- Added an Item Crafting Bench at Leapy Lake

Loot Pool Changes

- Vaulted Infantry Rifle

Other Changes

- Updated water textures in Leapy Lake & Wooly Woods to match Peely Pond

Rumor has it that "Let's Go Green!" isn't done with their Crafting Bench, Local's say they saw a bazooka :eyes:

Season 2 - Get Ready To Craft!

After the split of No Sweat Insurance & Let's Go Green! organization, the Island was getting prepared for a massive overhaul!

Let's Go Green! has terraformed the entire area where Classy Containers once used to be. The boring old container yard is no more, it's time to welcome Peely Pond! This massive forest biome is a beautiful change for the map!

No Sweat Insurance has built an Industrial Block in the south-east corner of the map where Happy Hills once stood! The little forest mountain is no more, it got turned into Island Industries!

Loot Pool Changes

Vaulted:
- Tactical SMG

- All chests now contain the custom personalized loot pool. They are split into 3 categories: Weapon Chests, Throwable/Consumable Chest & Crafting Ingredients Crate. You can see how they look like in the pre-game lobby!

Crafting

- The brand new mechanic this season is crafting! You can craft items at Crafting Benches that are currently only found in Peely Pond & Wooly Woods.
- Use crafting ingredients in order to craft different items that cannot be found on the map otherwise.
- Crafting is very straight forward as you will have clear indicators which items you need to craft what item.
- Duct Tape & Mechanical Parts can be found in Crafting Ingredients Crates

3x Clingers + 1x Duct Tape -> 3x Grenades
3x Shield Potions + 1 Duct Tape -> 1x Chug Jug
3x Crash Pads + 1x Mechanical Part -> 2x Shockwave Grenades
10x Bandages + 1x Mechanical Part - 1x Bandage Bazooka!

Other Changes

- Added Pre-Game Lobby
- Updated Storm circles

Crafting is only getting started, different ways of crafting more items will be added later this season!

What's new?

Map updates, a new named location & the Lever-Action Shotgun!

Map Changes

- Introducing a new named POI - Jelly Junkyard! That little junkyard from before recieved a complete makeover & is now a named location on the map with more loot. It looks very similar to Compact Cars (which I took inspiration from).

- The construction site in Local's Lair from last update is now finished - it's now a mini-mall with a taco restaurant & a mini cafe bar. That place went from a demolished building to an icy field for Christmas & now to a mini-mall - hopefully to stay for good!

- Added Street lights across the streets.
- Fixed under the floor glitch in Local's Lair & Slippery Swamp because of the destroyable floor pieces on elevated areas.

Loot Pool Changes

- Added Lever-Action Shotgun to floor loot spawns.
- Note: Lever-Action Rifles are not & will not be added to floor loot spawns in order to decrease early game RNG from floor loot. The same applies to Sniper Rifles.

Other Changes

- Removed the manual Battle Bus spawn mechanic - spawning is now as before - in the sky!
- Minor updates to Storm Circles:
- The 2nd zone will go over the new Jelly Junkyard POI.
- The 4th zone will go over Local's Lair.
I'm planning on updating the storm/zone mechanics completely in the future to be random.
