Welcome to the newest Disco Royale change log! We've lots to cover, so lets dive right in.

First of all, I'd just like to thank everyone for Disco Royale's incredible success over the past few weeks. The island has been number 1 featured on FCHQ for 2 weeks in a row, and with it's growing popularity, words cannot describe how excited I am for the future.

We've added a countdown to the island to signify the beginning of Disco Royale's biggest annual festival... Summer Fest! See you at the Main Stage on July 23rd and 24th.

Speaking of the Main Stage, you can head there right now and check out the latest Rhythmic Series show, featuring Calvin Harris! We hope you enjoy - it's incredible!

Upon community request, player challenges have returned! This feature is in beta at the moment, so you'll only be able to find a select few around the map, however more will be added as we test the feature and push it to it's limits! Keep an eye on Disco Royale's social pages for more challenge additions soon.

With the Island forever expanding, fun things on the island need to expand too! If you make your way to the Arcade stall now, you'll be able to find 2 fan favourite minigames return! Check out Avalanche and Glider Drop now.

Coins have returned! We know how much fun you all had running around the map collecting coins when they were last in the game, so they're back. There are now over 50 coin locations for you to find, with more being added in future updates!

Beginning in March, Hang-out sessions will return! If you're not familiar with Hang-out sessions in Disco Royale, here is a run down: Every Friday night, players will gather on the island to experience a small concert, play some mini-games, explore and connect! We'll see you at the next Hang-out.

Also in March, you'll be able to onto the island for the first 24-hour show! Similar to the OG Turnback and the Bunker Jam Remix Party that took place last year... more information to come soon.

Disco Royale has signed an exclusive deal with a huge record-label, who will be taking over one of the stages soon! Lots of exciting stuff coming your way in Q2 of 2022, so keep an eye out.

After the Together Forever concert, players were left in awe, and were wondering what's going to come next. Well, you'll be able to join KSI at the Main Stage in early March for an exciting live show! More information to come soon.

Welcome to the newest Disco Royale change log! We've lots to cover, so lets dive right in.

Beginning this incredibly long change log with the fact that we're changing the version numbers for all updates. The new update system is much cleaner and means that we won't reach update v1,000,000 by next year.

Club Disco Royale officially opens its doors on the island. You'll be able to head into the building and experience an incredible concert centred around Deadmau5's Club V3 tour. You'll also be able to grab yourself a slice of pizza and explore the bar area, too!

Islands have collided, and with it brings the old Plaza that you knew and loved. You can now grab yourself a delicious pizza in the classic Pizza Pit, or munch on some exotic fish in Fish Stick's restaurant, freshly copied from an old version of Disco Royale. You'll also now be able to find many consumables around the island. These include pizza, fish, slurp juice, vegetables and much more - right from the Plaza and Club Disco Royale!

The consumables that we just spoke about aren't free, sadly... besides the pizza (we love pizza so much that you can have it for free on the island.) What better way to pay for these consumables than literally by pickaxing the rocks. Yeah, you read that correctly... all you have to do to collect crystals on the new island is pickaxe a rock. Revolutionary, if yous ask me....

As mentioned earlier, because the islands has collided, it's brought back another old POI that you all loved. The Amusement park from the old Disco Royale map has returned! Test your wit on the bouncer course, or face your fears on the Sky Drop.

Both the Main Stage and the Breakout Stage have had major re-vamps. Thanks to Dehalfwit, the Main Stage is better than ever, and the Breakout Stage was made by Asadaps, so it's rubbish. Only joking, Dehalfwit said he liked the roof!

Two crowd-favourite effects are back! They were long lost when Kalonisi took the spotlight and destroyed the old island, but now they've returned. In the next Disco Royale concert, look out for the Disco Dome and the Flower beacons, and witness their glory once again.

The island isn't Disco Royale without fun games to play. While we work on some incredible new games for you to enjoy, two classics have returned! From tonight, hop back into the games you love - Boogie Royale and Throwdown. Just a reminder that these mini-games cost 3 Malachite to play.

In collaboration with Dehalfwit, you'll be able to experience an incredible show from Coldplay very soon. With 3 of Coldplay's best songs and an XP-generous interactive experience, we're sure this is something that you'll all enjoy. XP will not be enabled for the first few hours as Epic need to calibrate the island, and this process is out of our control. We would highly-recommend sharing the event via live-stream, video or screenshots to extend the audience reach and allow more people to experience this incredible show!

Andddd the final new addition to Disco Royale's newest update. I feel that the island is in a state now where everything is bug-free - I'm happy to announce that from tonight, we'll be bringing Disco Royale out of beta! This opens up so many possibilities for the island, and I can't wait to share what will be arriving within the future.

Challenges have returned! After a prolonged wait, a fan favourite feature is back on the island. We're experimenting with challenges at the moment, so you'll only find two around the island. Completing challenges will reward you with 5 random crystals.

Disco Royale x Mario Kart! Pfft, we wish! We've added a definitely-not-inspired-by rainbow road mini-game! Can you avoid falling off the rainbow road? Also, collect one of the two music notes on the road to activate super-sane mode! We won't ruin what happens during activation of super-sane mode... but, just be careful.

More optimisations for 3D Audio! To continue with the island's path to becoming as realistic as possible, we've creating a feel to the speakers around the map. The island's music will now come from the speakers directly, instead of just coming from a general area around the stage. We've tested it, and we think it sounds awesome!

The hub's nightly show is under wraps. After three months of non-stop action from the Main Hub every night, we've decided it's time to give the hub a break. However, the fun doesn't stop there! During night times, head to any one of the three stages for a crazy show! Also, if you head to the Main Stage or the Breakout Stage, you'll be in line to experience a spectacular fireworks show.

The island has had a giant make-over! For this week only, jump in to the Halloween-themed island. The Breakout stage is currently holding an "art" exhibition, however it's just a dead body on the top of a somewhat nice box. Also, the Main Stage's main act of the week is... a witch. She can't sing, but if you tell her that, she'll fry you in her caldron, so be careful with what you say to her on your visit to the Main Stage.

You can now matchmake with others! Around the island, you'll find portals where you can matchmake into public lobbies and have lots more fun!

First of all, the museum is back! If you've ever wanted to go and take a look at what the original Disco Royale stages looked like, now is your chance. Head down to the Main Stage and visit the museum!

They've packed up from their little stall and saved up enough crystals to open an actual shop! The Arcade has moved from the mini stall to the Main Hub Mall, so go and check it out.

Featured Islands are back! Every week, we'll be updating the island portals in-game with maps that we think you'll enjoy! Go and check it out now.

The stocks are at an all time high! In this update, we've given players the ability to exchange their crystals for other types. Currently avaliable exchanges are:
10 Silver Ore = 5 Malachite Crystal
10 Sunbeam Crystals = 5 Copper Ore

Around the island, we've added more ways to access the Fishing Zone! There are now stalls all-over the island where you can jump right into the island and fish for crystals, and of course, fish!

Please give a round of applause for the brand new Rainbow Road Slide-off! This brand new mini-game is sure to bring you lots of fun. We've playtested it, and honestly we think it's the best mini-game on the map. It's sure to bring you a good laugh, or a scream, so go and have fun right now! Head to the Arcade to play.

With the Fortnite v18.10 update, Epic Games added Paint Launchers and Paint Grenades to the Creative lootpool. So, we added them to Disco Royale! You can find them in Vending Machines at the Hub's Mall.

Centec, from The Asadaps Fortilla, had a brilliant deathrun level idea, so we've added it! Head to the deathrun now and figure out the path to victory.

First of all, the team have managed to cut the memory usage in the island by 14%! This is a crazy achievement and allows us to add even crazier additions in the future.

After a prolonged wait, we've finally added purchasable to the island. We've started with a couple to see how we can improve this system over-time. We're kicking this system off with the ability to buy random candies, fishing rods, and torches! You can purchase these items as many of the stalls around the island, and they will cost you 5 copper.

Fishing is here! We've added a fishing zone to Disco Royale, so you can now grab those tasty fish! There are fishing stalls around the island where you'll be able to purchase fishing rods and access to the fishing zone. Access to the fishing zone will cost you 10 copper, however it's for a good cause as you may just be lucky enough to fish out some crystals... 👀

The Neon Jungle Stage is now in full action! From now up until September 11th at 1pm BST, hop onto the island and experience a live show centered around the Fortnite Music Pack: Bunker Jam Remix. We haven't gone too crazy with the effects as it's just something little to enjoy when you hop into the island, but be sure to check it out!

Disco Royale has now been optimised for spatial audio. This means that sound will come from the stages and feel realistic, and ambience will immerse you into the island even deeper. If you have stereo headphones, give it a go! Head to your Settings > Audio > and flick on 3D Headphones. You may need to disable Visual audio to enable the 3D headphones option.

Disco Royale now has a working day and night cycle. During the day-time, the mine will fog up and become hard to see. Leaves will fall off trees and the stage mannequins will become disabled. During the night time, the entire island will glow up! Fireworks will be set off around the hub, and the giant Peely will appear to give you a dance lesson.

Malachite will now be used to access mini games. If you head to the Arcade stall, you can now interact directly with the screens and pay for your ticket into the mini-game! Boogie Royale, Throwdown and Colour Switch will cost you 5 Malachite. Avalanche and The Haunted Deathrun will cost you 10 Malachite.

The entire team at Disco Royale have a huge passion and support for the LGBTQ+ community. From September 20th to October 3rd, you’ll be able to jump into Disco Royale and experience a whole host of fun and exciting activities, concerts and more, all highlighting the best of the LGBTQ+ community.

Colour Switch has recieved some major improvements this update! We've added a new system that allows on-going games of Colour Switch to go without being interrupted. This feature will tracks the amount of players in the game after the countdown and disable the button at the arcade. When player falls through the floor, send a signal to the tracker device which will decrease the number of players by one. Once one player is left, they will be teleported back and a message will show up saying that they are the winner. The button will re-enable and another game of Colour Switch can commence. We hope this can allow the minigames to run more seemlessly.

We've made some little changes to the Arcade stall. It now looks much neater.

In this update, we've added lots of brand new mini-games for you to play and enjoy! We'll outline them here, how they work, and how to get to them.

Colour Switch - Players will be dropped into an arena full of colourful tiles. A colour will be called out on screen and on the wall. Players must stand on-top of the specified coloured tile within a certain amount of time before they get dropped into the pit. The last person standing wins.

The Spooky Deathrun - Players will need to avoid obstacles that may present themselves to players to beat the deathrun. The obstacles include sliding down stairs and missing the gaps, jumping over cracks in the floor while being restricted by fencing, and running across what seems to be a never ending tunnel of falling tiles. We hope you'll enjoy this one as much as we do!

Avalanche - Players will be presented with a huge staircase with obstacles all over it. Players must make their way up the stairs without being flung backwards, otherwise they will need to fight their way to the top once again!

Purchasable items! We've added items for you to purchase and enjoy on the island. These include consumables, items and more! Check them out now.

Travel Pads! We know how fustrating it can be walking down those giant roads just to get to the stages. To rectify your pain, we've added Travel pads into the game! Hop onto one and fly around the island like you own it!

Brand new effects! We want to make the events that we run the best that they can possibly be. To make this possible, we've added lots of new effects that unfortunately can't be revealed yet! Keep an eye out for the next live show to find out what they are though... 👀
