OVERVIEW
Whether you play Royale Islands to prepare for a actual Fortnite match or to enjoy the game’s content and story, EXTX is prepared. The experience includes many secrets and hidden features that enhance your gameplay. While maintaining it's Battle Royale style, the game also includes a very interesting and entertaining storyline that leaves players with many speculations on what's upcoming behind the scenes.
MULTIPLE MODES
Royale Islands also includes multiple modes that will rotate and replace over each other during the Royale Islands period. Some modes being pulled from Fortnite discover and some that were developed by the EXTX Team and other Island Creators.
SAVE YOUR PROGRESS
As you play, your progress will save. Complete missions to gain score and gold, use those resources to purchase your favorite items and unlock special features to enhance your gameplay. Each season, your progress will reset so make sure you spend it all before it's gone! Each Royale Islands season typically lasts about 3-5 months, so you'll have plenty of time to stock up and buy. Don't worry, you're not playing for nothing and we're looking into special ways to show that you've played during a specific season.

Map Updates
ROYALE ISLANDS - FEATURES
We're testing a new feature that replaces ground items with coins. Collect these coins around the Island to be receive a randomly granted item and some Gold Coins to spend at shops.
ROYALE ISLANDS - ADJUSTMENTS
Player adjustments were made including Player Speed, Player Health and what Items can be dropped when eliminated. We'll be monitoring how this affects the game and are ready to make any adjustments if needed.
ROYALE ISLANDS - RESOLVED ISSUES
We've resolved many Issues that were occuring in our Island transition update (V-530). We're still in the process fixing the minor ones and we'll keep you updated with any new information.
ROYALE ISLANDS - ITEMS
The Pulse Rifle and many other weapons have been added to both Exploration and Battle Royale. We've also returned some other Items including the Tactical Shotgun and the Submachine Gun.
ROYALE ISLANDS - SEASON
The Target is just moments away from losing its energy once again, and the survivors aren’t so happy. Explore constantly changing locations like Target Island and Target Village that’ve been exposed to the Target’s Power, watch them evolve into something special and learn to defy the Island during the Season!
