FORTNITE CREATIVE V20.0 UPDATE
On March 20, 2022, Fortnite launched it's new season: Chapter 3 Season 2! And it is astounding! This season brings on new challenges and mechanisms that provide unique player movement versatility.In addition to that, new weapons and vehicles entertain the Fortnite island, and hopefully will be coming to Creative soon. The game play experience is alarming for some due to players not being able to build for some time. However, the experience have received some positive feedback as well.
NEW PLAYER MOVEMENT MECHANISMS ADDED
In addition to this update, we have some new player movement mechanisms! They are mantle, sprint, shoulder dash.
MANTLING
Mantling allows the player to gain the high ground quickly by allowing players to grab on to ledges and climb up. Very great for combat map, which is just in time for the combat call out. I also wanted to drop a quick tip to be sure to mantle proof you island if you do decide to add it.

SPRINTING
You can now add sprinting to your map to allow you players to move at faster speeds for a limited time. Would be great to see these implemented into death-runs or even loo runs game modes!
SHOULDER BASHING
Shoulder bashing allows players to bash doors open with their shoulders! Plus door will open even when players slide into them now, if this is turned on. Looking forward to seeing how this interesting movement mechanism could be used in creative games!

Fireflies are now available to use in Fortnite Creative. The dangerous but beautiful creatures can be used to bring life to your atmosphere or even as collectible for missions. Give it a try and share how you use this device in the FCHQ discord!
