In this guide, I'm going to walk you through how to submit your map for Feature Friday! So let's go ahead and get started!
WHAT IS FEATURE FRIDAY?
So you may be wondering, what exactly is Feature Friday? And that is a great question!
Every Friday, creators that are a part of the FCHQ community, and have an HQ creator role, are able to submit maps that are then play-tested by expert map makers. The best maps are selected to be featured on the homepage here at FortniteCreativeHQ.com, and the ones that don't make it receive valuable feedback from the play-testers to help them improve their skills as a Fortnite Creator!

So if you are looking to grow as a creator, get valuable feedback and promotion for your creative maps and improve your skills, Feature Friday is the best way to do it!

SUBMISSION RULES
Now before you start your submission there are a few rules to take note of.
These rules are:
- You may only submit one map each week.
- Always use the appropriate format when submitting.
- You may re-submit maps you've already submitted, only if they have been enhanced/fixed since the previous submission after you have received feedback from HQ Crew play-testing team leader.
- While we appreciate the time and effort it takes to make them, music-only maps, artistic maps with no gameplay, and "Hub" submissions will not qualify for being Featured.
- All submitted islands must be on FortniteCreativeHQ.com
WHEN TO SUBMIT
Every Friday, after the Feature Friday winners are announced, you will be able to submit your maps for review! Just be sure to look for the #ff-submissions channel under the Featured Friday Category in the FCHQ discord and watch for the initial post that states submissions are open!
Submissions are open up to 12 hours from the time the initial post is made.
HOW TO SUBMIT
When submitting your map, please be sure to use the proper format below:
Map Name:
Type of map: [is your map an Escape maze, deathrun, prop hunt, etc]
# of Players:
Description:
Link to map: [on FortniteCreativeHQ.com]
Island code: [5555-5555-5555]
Video link: [youtube url] (Optional)
Previously Playtested by: <playtest team leader> (Only include if re-submission)
Here is an example of a correct map submission:
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER SUBMISSION
Submissions will be closed 12 hours from the time submission opens. Once submissions is closed,
your island will be assigned to a play-test leader.
Keep an eye out for the #need-playtesting channel in the FCHQ Discord to see when your map will be play-tested!

WINNERS ANNOUNCED
All featured winners will be announced on Friday! But, no worries! If you missed the play-test streams, you will have a chance to view it during the feedback session.
FEEDBACK
Feedback will be posted in the #playtest-feedback channel on Friday after the Feature Friday winners are announced! During feedback, you will have chance to view the play-test video stream plus discuss your feedback with the play-test team leader who played your map.
