Aside from having a good map and thumbnail, map promotion will be the life line of your map when done consistently! Here are 3 methods you can use today to promote your Fortnite Creative Map!

#1. Promote on Your Socials
Promoting your map on socials, for instance Twitter, Youtube, Tik-Tok or Twitch, is a great way to create interest your map. You can post updates, map collectibles(wallpapers, artwork, etc), post tips for tough quests and even promote events! You can take this further by creating a separate social account for your map, especially if you are working on an open world or series themed map.
#2. Get Your Maps in Hubs
Having your map added to a Hub is a great way to connect with other players that are already a part of the Hub Creator's Community! Doing this will give your map access to a community of players that could hopefully favorite your map and share it with their friends! To get your map in hubs, start being active by connecting with creators who are building hubs. Ask if they can add your map to their hub! Don't forget to return the favor! Build a hub of your own and add their maps to your hub to continue the process! It's a perfect way to promote your map!
#3. Create a Tournament or Event
If you like making sweaty maps, then creating tournaments or events around your map can help market your map to the right players. Create an event with a tough challenge and promote it on your socials. Develop a tournament with prize for the top 3. Do this consistently and you will reach the right type of players!
