Epic Releases Epic's Pick in Discovery!!!
On February 9th, 2022, Epic announced a new category that they are releasing on Discovery! A category in which they will be featuring a variety of islands hand-picked out by Epic! You can expect to see a wide arrange of game modes of original design and concepts, even experiences from Epic partners or LTMs! (limited time events)
What's exciting about this entire process is that, when you submit your map to discovery that's when your submission is reviewed for a chance to appear in Epic's Picks! The article states (verbatim)
"We’ll be selecting a variety of your creations each week to showcase alongside some of our partners to keep Epic’s Picks fresh and exciting. We’ll display those maps in the highlights section of the Hub as well for easy access."

This is awesome! In addition to that, I'm not sure if anyone noticed, but the article then states that this process will also be used to select featured islands as well!! Here is an outtake from the article:
"You can submit your islands for consideration by continuing to use the creative content submission form once your island has been approved for Discover. We’ll consider any island submitted through that process for both the new Epic Picks row and the existing Featured Maps in the Hub, such as the rifts and other matchmaking portals."

Which appears to mean that not only will they be reviewing maps for the new Epic's Picks category, but also will use this process to select maps to be featured in the hub and, rifts and other matchmaking portals!! That sounds pretty awesome, what do you think?
